Speedway, Ind. (October 8, 2025) – Joliet Illinois, Jordan Missig, will once again be back behind the wheel of an ABEL Motorsports INDY NXT car as he chases the 2026 championship. 2026 marks Missig’s second full-time season of INDY NXT by Firestone competition.
“I’m extremely ecstatic to announce that I will be returning to ABEL Motorsports and the INDY NXT by Firestone Championship for the 2026 season with continued support from our returning partners Nexus Towing and Racing For Mental Health,” said the driver of the No. 48 Dallara.
Jordan Missig made his way to ABEL Motorsports for a handful of races in 2024 to get a taste for INDY NXT competition, while on the way to securing the 2024 Radical Cup North America championship. 2025 saw the return of Jordan Missig to ABEL Motorsports, but this time in a full-season capacity behind the wheel of the number 48. Missig went on to score six top 10 finishes, fastest race lap at Nashville Superspeedway on his way to ninth in the series championship standings.
“While 2025 had some highs, there were a few things I identified as we went through the season that I am going to hone in and work on during the off-season, that I think will help make me a stronger competitor in 2026 and help us challenge for wins,” said Missig.
With experience leading the way for ABEL Motorsports in their 2026 driver lineup, Team Owner Bill Abel couldn’t be happier to see the relationship and journey with Jordan Missig continuing next season.
