Abel Motorsports Ready for Final Oval Race of the 2026 Season

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

Speedway Ind. (August 27, 2026) – The final oval event on the 2026 INDY NXT by Firestone schedule has arrived, as Abel Motorsports readies their four cars for the legendary Milwaukee Mile.

A growing fan of the oval tracks, 17-year-old Max Garcia is looking to build on the productive test he and the Abel Motorsports team had back in June. Garcia finished both sessions inside the top-10.

“Feeling really good about this weekend. I have learned so much on the first two ovals of the year, and I am hoping to use everything I’ve learned to get a good result on the final oval for the year!” said Max Garcia.

Making his debut on the Milwaukee Mile, Colin Kaminsky feel that he and the number 57 Slick Locks car are right on the cusp of a solid result.

“With the last oval race of the season coming up, the #57 Slick Locks Abel Motorsports car is going to go really fast around the oval. We’ve had good pace every oval, and have clawed closer to a good result. It’ll be my first time racing at the historic Milwaukee Mile and I’m looking forward to it!” said Colin Kainsky.

Jacob Abel has experienced success in Milwaukee, finishing second here in his 2024 INDY NXT by Firestone campaign. Abel will once again be behind the wheel of the No. 48 Steel Dynamics Inc. car.

“Looking forward to getting on an oval in this car, especially after how fun Portland was. I’m going to have some rust to shake off, but feeling confident in the car that we will bring to the track,” said Jacob Abel.

Myles Rowe is looking forward to a return to The Mile, and continuing to push for wins. Rowe had pace at Milwaukee finishing the 90 laps in fourth.

“Last oval of the season so we are going to do everything we can to fight for the win. We were pretty competitive here in 2025, and we have a good bit of momentum so really excited to see what we can do this weekend,” said Myles Rowe.

The INDY NXT at Milwaukee Mile gets underway for 90 laps of racing action on Sunday August 30th with coverage being shown live on FOX Sports 1 beginning at 11:00am ET.
