– Abel Motorsports and Myles Rowe return to the site of their 2025 season ending win
Lebanon, TN (July 18, 2026) – The second oval of the 2026 INDY NXT by Firestone season and the site of Abel Motorsports season ending win in 2025 is here as the Abel squad heads south to the Nashville Superspeedway.
Leading the way in April testing ending the two test sessions at the top of the charts, 2025 race winner Myles Rowe is excited to get back to work on the ovals.
“I’m stoked to be back at Nashville fighting for another win. We had an incredible car here in the race last year and the test here in April, so just really can’t wait to get on track and get back into the oval mindset,” said Rowe.
“Looking forward to putting on a great show for all of the amazing fans, friends, and family that show up!”
Colin Kaminsky heads to Nashville with redemption on his mind. Kaminsky tested well at the 1.33 mile oval and is hopeful this weekend will help turn his season around.
“I’m ready to redeem our season at Nashville. We showed promise in St. Louis before an unlucky qualifying run. We had a great test back in April and I think we are prepared for a solid finish. It’s going to be an all-out battle on the oval and I’m excited for it,” said Kaminsky.
Ready for his second oval in his INDY NXT career, Max Garcia is excited for an opportunity to show what he learned at World Wide Technology Raceway and apply it on another oval.
“I’m really looking forward to our second oval of the season. I had a blast at World Wide Technology Raceway and really learned so much that I’m ready to apply this weekend and see what kind of results we can have,” said Garcia.
“This track is a lot different than WWTR and a bit faster so it’s going to be really fun to get out in the draft with everyone and see what we can do.”
Open-wheel oval racing is a completely unique discipline, and the exact thing that got a young Jordan Missig hooked on the sport that would turn into his career.
“Ready for some high-speed oval action at Nashville this weekend. This style of racing exactly reminds me of the old school open-wheel days which got me to fall in love with racing in the first place,” said Missig.
“Our oval package has been stellar this year, so hopefully looking for the best result of the year this weekend.”
The second oval event of the season kicks off on Friday July 18 with both practice and qualifying. Practice goes green live on FOX Sports 1 at 11:30am ET followed by qualifying on FOX Sports 2 at 4:30pm ET. 65 laps of INDY NXT oval action is on tap for Sunday with coverage beginning on FOX Sports 1 at 1:00pm ET.
