Abel Motorsports Looks to Carry Winning Ways to Road America

–         Abel Motorsports looks for third podium finish at Road America in INDY NXT Competition

Elkhart Lake, WI (June 19, 2026) – Fresh off of their come from behind win at World Wide Technology Raceway, Abel Motorsports heads into rounds 9 and 10 hoping to carry that momentum with them for the third double-header of the 2026 INDY NXT by Firestone Season.

A thrilling victory in St. Louis has Myles Rowe even more excited to head to Elkhart Lake and what has become such a special track and venue for him. Rowe also celebrates his 26th birthday on Friday.

“Very excited to continue the momentum in Wisconsin. St. Louis was an incredible win and incredible lift to our program, so really just looking forward to continuing to go to work with the 99 crew,” said Rowe.

“Road America is a very special place to me because of my history with the Pabst Racing family, and all of my old teammates. I know what it means to be successful here and I’m looking forward to gaining more momentum here in Elkhart Lake.”

Rookie Max Garcia also has a long list of personal history at Road America, starting here driving gokarts all the way to now in the Dallara IL-15.

“I always love going back to Road America. It’s such a special weekend because it really feels like home for me here, after spending so much time here in my career,” said Garcia.

“I’ve gotten to race around here a ton and have won in both karts and cars and I can’t wait to see what its like in the INDY NXT car.”

Jordan Missig is heading to what feels like home this weekend in Wisconsin, as Road America was the closest track to Missig growing up that he competes on.

“Road America is a track that I would consider my favorite track and also my home track given the close distance to where I grew up. This is always such a fun weekend and I’m looking forward to making it better with some good pace and results to add to our 2026 campaign. We just passed the halfway point in the season and we established a good position in the championship standings but now it’s time to make a move and move up a couple of positions,” said Missig.

Colin Kaminsky is excited for the weekend ahead too, and believes that the same pace he and the number 57 car had here in 2023 will translate into 2026. Kaminsky would ultimately qualify on the outside of the front row in 2023.

“Really looking forward to this weekend at Road America, a track I absolutely love competing at and driving on,” said Kaminsky.

“We had some speed here in 2023 and wound up on the front row but unfortunately the race didn’t go how we had hoped. We are confident we will have that same speed this year in the number 57 Slick Locks Abel Motorsports machine, now we just need to capitalize on it.”

The double-header at Road America gets underway with practice on Friday June 19th with coverage beginning at 3:00pm ET on FOX Sports 1. Saturday brings qualifying for both races, followed by race one at 12:30pm ET live on FOX Sports 1. Race two rounds out the weekend on Sunday with coverage being shown live on FOX Sports 1 at 12:00pm ET.
