– Myles Rowe scores his best INDY NXT finish to date of second place, scoring his third podium of the 2025 season
– Callum Hedge scores fourth top ten finish of the season
Speedway, Ind. (June 17, 2025) – For the third time in the 2025 INDY NXT by Firestone season, ABEL Motorsports with driver Myles Rowe, scores their third podium finish. Rowe put on an exciting performance battling in the top five all race long to come home in the second position.

For Myles Rowe his sophomore season in INDY NXT is fully focused on one thing: winning the INDY NXT championship and he is keeping the fight alive with his best career finish in the series to date, second.
“First oval of the year and overall, I’m very pleased with our finish. Obviously, we’d love to be on the top step of the podium, but there is just a little bit more for us to find,” explained Rowe.
For the first time in three seasons, the entirety of the 75-lap race was caution free, allowing for lap traffic and tire degradation to play a real key factor.
“The race staying green the entire way was very interesting and showed that we have good pace in traffic and a car that is really comfortable over a long run. We’ve got some good momentum heading into Road America, and definitely for the three remaining ovals. Just have to keep capitalizing,” exclaimed Myles Rowe.

With tenths of a second being the difference in qualifying, New Zealand’s Callum Hedge believes that he left some speed on the table during qualifying which put him slightly behind the eight ball for the race.
“Definitely a positive and clean weekend in St. Louis, I didn’t maximize qualifying like I would like and ended up leaving some speed on the table which didn’t put us in the best track position for the race,” said the 21-year-old.
As the race began to play out, Hedge showed pace closing up on the lead pack just running out of time to make moves on the cars ahead of him.
“Once the race got going and we settled into a rhythm we showed some good pace and were running lap times competitive with the leaders, I just didn’t have enough time to make up the ground on the cars in front. I think the potential is there in the car, which makes me really excited for the three ovals coming up later in the season,” stated Hedge.

While his finishing position isn’t what Jordan Missig was wanting, his solid day behind the wheel of the No. 48 Nexus Towing machine gained him two very valuable spots in the championship fight.
“The first oval race of the year went alright for me in the 48 car. We came out of the box really strong, gaining three positions but as the race wore on and tire degradation began to become a factor I began to lose the handle of the car from where we started and fell back a few spots to 11th. I would have hoped for a better finish given the fast car I had, but I will settle with it for now and bringing home some decent points which pushes me up two spots in the championship standings,” detailed Missig.

The weekend at World Wide Technology raceway was a difficult one for Jack William Miller, but one that he feels was filled with lessons and things to take into the coming oval races.
“I was really excited to get to St. Louis and shake off the oval rust, and see what the number 40 Patterson Dental/HomeLink car was capable of, but unfortunately the weekend just didn’t go our way,” said the Indianapolis native.
“I feel like I learned a lot this weekend, and made some progress on my oval driving and the car setup so I’m ready to get back after it when we go to Iowa,” said Miller.
The racing rolls on, this weekend to the picturesque track of Road America in Elkhart Lake Wisconsin on June 22nd. The weekend begins on Friday June 20th with practice one live on Fox Sports 2. Practice two and qualifying follow on Saturday June 21st with both sessions live on Fox Sports 1. The INDY NXT Grand Prix at Road America goes green on Sunday June 22nd with coverage beginning on Fox Sports 1 at 11:00am ET.
