The INDY NXT Summer Swing Carries on to Road America

  • Jordan Missig moved up two positions in the championship after WWTR to eighth
  • Myles Rowe looks to keep his podium momentum up at Road America after scoring his third podium of the season at WWTR

Elkhart Lake, WI. (June 18, 2025) – The summer of racing carries on this weekend for ABEL Motorsports as the four car armada rolls on to Road America in Elkhart Lake Wisconsin for round seven of the 2025 INDY NXT by Firestone championship.

Continuing to ride the wave of momentum, Powder Spring Georgia native Myles Rowe, is ready to get back to work on the flowing course at Road America.

“I’m really excited to keep our momentum rolling into Road America, it’s such a beautiful track filled with so much history and nostalgia and a track that means a lot to me due to my ties with the Pabst family,” said Rowe.

Having scratched both steps on the podium off of his INDY NXT bucket list, Rowe is still eager to find the top step and break through as an INDY NXT by Firestone race winner.

“We have been so close this year to finally getting that win, we just have to keep searching for it and working hard like we have all season. I’m really confident in the car that ABEL Motorsports has here, and will continue pushing for that top step of the podium,” exclaimed Rowe.

A favorite circuit on the calendar, Callum Hedge is ready to get back to Wisconsin and continue on a circuit that he has experienced success at.

“Road America is my favorite track on the calendar, and one that I circle on the calendar every year,” exclaimed Callum Hedge.

With prior experience at the 14-turn Wisconsin road course, Hedge managed to sweep the weekend here in 2023 in the Formula Regional America’s championship leading on to a championship title.

“The driving style this track requires really suits my style and getting to win here three times in 2023 was huge so really hoping I can repeat that this weekend. We have put a lot of work in this season and haven’t had the results to show for it, so I am extra determined to put our number 17 at the front this weekend,” said Hedge.

For Jack William Miller, having raced at Road America throughout his junior open-wheel career, the annual trip to Elkhart Lake feels like a homecoming for the Indianapolis native.

“I’m looking forward to being back in the seat again this weekend driving the Patterson Dental/HomeLink car, and at such an iconic track like Road America. The fans make Road America feel like a second home for me, and I can’t wait to see everyone at America’s National Park of Speed,” said Miller.

After a difficult go last weekend at the World Wide Technology Raceway, the quick turnaround between St. Louis and Road America is a welcome sight for Jack William Miller.

“St. Louis was rough for us on the 40 car, so to be able to get right back at it a few days later is great for us. I can’t thank all of my guys for working so hard on this car, I hope we can repay that with a good result,” said Jack William Miller.

After a disappointing end to his race at Road America in 2024, Jordan Missig, is excited to get back to the place that he considers his home track.

“Road America is the closest thing to a home race for me other than Milwaukee later this year, so I’m looking forward to a good weekend this time around and another fast ABEL Motorsports car like in 2024,” stated the Illinois native.

Moving up two places in the championship standings last weekend in St. Louis, Missig knows that another solid day on track will help him in his quest for an INDY NXT championship even more.

“It was great to gain more points last weekend and move up further in the standings, but we absolutely want more. We know we had a fast car here last season, so I would expect much of the same so we should be challenging towards the front and hopefully moving up a few more places in the standings too,” explained Missig.

The 2025 INDY NXT Grand Prix at Road America gets underway on Friday June 19th with practice one live on Fox Sports two. Saturday follows with practice two and qualifying, both live on Fox Sports One. The 20 lap race will take the green flag on Sunday with coverage beginning at 11:00am ET.
