Penultimate INDY NXT Round at the Milwaukee Mile

  • Myles Rowe paced the test here in June leading the combined test result

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

Speedway, Ind. (August 23, 2025) – It’s the penultimate round of competition for the INDY NXT by Firestone Series as they head to the famous Milwaukee Mile for 90 laps of competition. ABEL Motorsports driver, Myles Rowe, lead the testing here back in June ending the day first amongst combined practice times.

Earning his fifth podium finish of the season at the Portland International Raceway and a strong test here in June, Myles Rowe has an air of confidence walking into the legendary track.

“Coming to the last two races of the season, and two ovals that I am very excited for. We have been really strong on the ovals this season, and combining that with how much fun Milwaukee is to drive and we are set up for a great weekend,” exclaimed Rowe.

“Milwaukee is a great track, and we did really well at the test so as a group we are looking to maximize the results and build off of the podium momentum from our finish in Portland,” stated Myles Rowe.

With a fresh new paint scheme that was recently unveiled, Jordan Missig is ready to get his first race at The Mile under his belt.

“I’m excited to get out in front of the Milwaukee crowd and put on a show,” said Jordan Missig.

“Milwaukee proved to be one of the best races to watch last year. I’m also interested to see how our car will perform this time around because we showed really good long run pace, and if we can convert that to short run pace then we should be very competitive this weekend,” exclaimed Missig.

Also finding some speed in the INDY NXT series test at Milwaukee, New Zealand’s Callum Hedge is looking to close out the final two races of the season as strong as he can.

“I’m excited to get back in the saddle on an oval, especially Milwaukee,” said Hedge.

“We tested here earlier in the year, and we were quick and the car felt strong on my own and in traffic, so I think we have something for this weekend. Two more races to go this season and we are hunting for more trophies,” exclaimed Hedge.

A weekend off to reset has Jack William Miller feeling refreshed and ready to tackle the upcoming race at the Milwaukee Mile.

“I’m feeling super fresh and ready to take on all the challenges that The Mile has for us,” said Jack William Miller.

“We had lots of pace in Milwaukee last season and I’m looking forward to turning the Patterson Dental/HomeLink car left a bunch this weekend. Make sure you tune in to Fox Sports 1 to catch it all,” exclaimed Miller.

A two day show for the INDY NXT by Firestone series with practice and qualifying getting the weekend started on Saturday followed by 90 laps of racing live on Fox Sports 1 beginning at 11:30am ET.
