Speedway, Ind. (March 31, 2025) – Four weeks after the opening round of the 2025 INDY NXT by Firestone Championship on the Streets of St. Petersburg Florida, ABEL Motorsports and their four-car lineup are ready to head to the Nashville Superspeedway for the first INDY NXT oval test of the season.
Coming off of his fourth place finish in round 1 at St. Petersburg, Myles Rowe is excited to get back on an oval and see what he and lead engineer Kent Boyer are able to come up with setup wise for the series sophomore.

“I’m really looking forward to an oval test, especially because we haven’t ran on an oval since this race (Nashville Superspeedway) last season. I know some of the rookies are probably really excited to try out an oval, and it will be a cool experience for them to get to try out a superspeedway,” said Myles Rowe.
While Tuesday at Nashville Superspeedway will be a test day rather than a race weekend, Rowe knows the importance of treating tests like race weekends and the importance of the track time available.
“I go into every test session like it’s a race weekend, just to keep the intensity level up and to fill my notebook with information. We only get the one day in Nashville, so our number one priority is going to be maximizing the time available to us to make sure that when we come back at the end of the season we’re ready to go,” said the Georgia native.
Getting his first oval experience under his belt in 2024, Callum Hedge is keen to work more on his oval craft, especially after seeing the speed ABEL Motorsports showed here last season.

“It’s going to be really nice to be back behind the wheel, and to get to rip around an oval will be great. ABEL showed a lot of pace here in 2024 with both Jacob (Abel) and Yuven (Sundaramoorthy), so it will be interesting to see what the ABEL Motorsports cars are like around here,” said Hedge.
While competing on the ovals previously, Hedge believes the additional seat time on an oval will only come to help with his oval notebook.
“It’s been tough not driving during this break so it will be good to get back to normal, but also just spending more time on an oval. I didn’t grow up running on ovals so getting to spend more time running on them will give me more experiences in different situations by myself and in traffic, so it should really help with my learning curve on these type of tracks,” exclaimed the New Zealander.
This won’t be a new track for the Joliet Illinois native, Jordan Missig, after testing at Nashville Superspeedway with ABEL Motorsports in last year, but the extra laps will help the series rookie as he looks down the road in 2025.

“I’m excited to go testing at Nashville Superspeedway because this is a very high speed superspeedway oval, and I absolutely love these types of tracks,” said Missig.
Thinking ahead to the season finale that will also take place at the Nashville Superspeedway, Missig is interested to see what he and his No. 48 crew are able to learn and then apply when the situation arises a few months later.
“It will be interesting to see what will work here because this is where the season finale will take place, and what we learn here can play a huge part when the championship or last chance for points are on the line when we come back in August,” exclaimed Missig.
Jack William Miller is ready to get back in the swing of things on an oval, and to get to work in the draft with his ABEL Motorsports teammates.

“I’m pumped to head to Nashville Superspeedway and get back on an oval in an INDY NXT car, and have teammates to work with and draft with,” said the Indianapolis Indiana native.
Heading to an oval for the first time with teammates, Miller knows the time spent with his teammates in the draft will come to back to pay dividends in August.
“I’m looking forward to getting to work in a draft with my three teammates and see what we can learn there. I didn’t get a ton of work in the draft last year, and being able to somewhat coordinate in the team environment I think will be important for me. It’s going to expose me to quite a few different situations that can happen when we are racing here, which will really help me when we do come back to race,” exclaimed Miller.
