ABEL Motorsports Scores Sixth Podium of the Season at Portland International Raceway

–         Myles Rowe finishes third to score his fifth podium of the 2025 season

–         Callum Hedge collects his 10th top 10 finish of the 2025 season

Speedway, Ind. (August 14, 2025) – It was another weekend on the podium for ABEL Motorsports as driver of the No. 99, Myles Rowe, scored his fifth podium of the season finishing third at Portland International Raceway.

Rowe was excited for the 35 laps of racing, after going fastest in group one qualifying. Rowe felt that the car he had underneath him would be one that could challenge for the lead.

“I’m extremely happy with our results in Portland, it always feels great leaving the track on Sunday with a trophy,” said Myles Rowe.

“All year long one of our goals has been to maximize our qualifying effort to give ourselves the best shot at a win on Sunday, and I felt great about the lap we were able to put together during qualifying. We might not have grabbed the pole, but we were fastest in our group and knew that we had the pace to content up front. We’ve got two more ovals to close out the season, so we are going to look to continue our momentum and close out the season strong,” exclaimed Rowe.

Having competed at Portland International Raceway in the past, Jordan Missig knew that in order to have an opportunity to move up the field from his 14th qualifying position goal one was to survive the madness of turn one.

“Portland was all about surviving the first corner after starting 14th. Once we got through all the chaos in turn one, it was game on to see how the race was going to play out,” explained the Joliet Illinois native.

“Luckily I was able to make up six spots and brought home some good points for an eighth-place finish. I’m really looking forward to finishing the season out strong on a pair of oval tracks where I know much needed points are in store for me,” exclaimed Jordan Missig.

Callum Hedge was once again knocking on the door of a podium, after showing strong pace all weekend in the No. 17 car.

“I was pretty happy with what we showed in Portland, obviously we want to be holding a trophy at the end of every weekend but I will take the points from fourth and see where we shake out in the standings,” said Hedge.

“I was really pleased with what we were able to do in qualifying, I think across the board the ABEL cars showed some speed which was great. We have two more ovals to close out the season, and two ovals that we tested extremely well at so I’m really looking forward to closing out the season as strong as possible,” exclaimed the Kiwi.

After a mechanical issue reared its head during qualifying, Jack William Miller knew he had his work cut out for him on Sunday after starting 19th.

“We had a very up and down weekend in Portland, that looked super promising but some bad luck with a mechanical issue in qualifying made that more difficult,” said Jack William Miller.

“With that we had to start at the back, but we never gave up and made up 10 spots during the race until we got hit. We managed to salvage as much as we could and made up six spots in the Patterson Dental / HomeLink car to finish 13th. I can’t thank everyone enough for their support all year long, ready to go again in Milwaukee,” exclaimed Miller.
