ABEL Motorsports Returns to the Racing Capitol of the World

Speedway, Ind. (May 9, 2025) – ABEL Motorsports is heading to the Racing Capitol of the World, the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, for rounds three and four of the INDY NXT by Firestone championship. For the first time in 2025, this will be a double-header race weekend with race one taking place on Friday May ninth and race two taking place on Saturday May 10th.

Currently third in the INDY NXT championship standings, Myles Rowe heads to Indianapolis with a sense of optimism after pacing the annual Chris Griffis Memorial Test here in October.

“I’ve really been looking forward to racing in Indianapolis, the month of May at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway is always something special,” said Myles Rowe.

“We had great pace here during the Chris Griffis test, and came up with a car setup that was incredibly comfortable but still fast. If we can just keep going on the path that we have, we will be great and hopefully challenging for a win,” exclaimed Rowe.

Indianapolis Indiana’s Jack William Miller is looking forward to racing at Indianapolis, a place that means so much to him and his family.

“I grew up around the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in May, so for me this is really the races I have circled on the calendar. I have friends and family that come to the track, and it’s really just a special month for me,” said Jack William Miller.

“I have had pace here in the past, and so has ABEL Motorsports, so I think we should be in a good spot heading into Friday and Saturday’s races. We are riding some momentum from Barber, so we have everything we need to make this a great weekend,” stated Miller.

Illinois’s Jordan Missig sits seventh in the championship after two strong showings at St. Petersburg and Barber. For Missig the key to continuing the strong finishes is continuing to do what he and lead engineer Phil Arscott have done all season.

“Indianapolis is always special. At the heart, I am a race fan and for me, there is nothing better than open-wheel cars around the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in May, I can’t wait to get this weekend going,” said Missig.

“We have had great cars, and we had a great car here back in October so I think for us if we just continue to work and refine our setup, we should be right up there in the mix fighting for a podium,” said Jordan Missig.

The quick turnaround time between Barber Motorsports Park and the Indianapolis Motor Speedway is great for New Zealand’s Callum Hedge, as Hedge is keen to bounce back from his weekend in Alabama.

“Barber was tough for us on the 17 crew, but thankfully we have a quick turnaround before we race again in Indianapolis,” exclaimed Hedge.

“This is a long season, so my focus is fully on our double-header at Indianapolis and what we can do to get the 17 car up front. We had great pace here during testing, and so did my teammates so there isn’t a reason we can’t be up there fighting all weekend,” exclaimed Hedge.

Rounds three and four of the 2025 INDY NXT by Firestone season take place on Friday May 9th with race two on Saturday May 10th. Race one goes green at 7:00pm ET live on FOX Sports 1 with race two going green at 1:00pm ET also live on FOX Sports 1.
