- ABEL Motorsports had two cars in the top three at World Wide Technology Raceway in 2024
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
Speedway, Ind. (June 11, 2025) – ABEL Motorsports is switching gears this weekend as the INDY NXT by Firestone series makes their first visit of the 2025 season to an oval. ABEL Motorsports managed to score two podiums at World Wide Technology in 2024 coming home second and third.
Leading the way for ABEL Motorsports during the first INDY NXT test at an oval earlier this week, Myles Rowe is excited to get back to some oval track racing this weekend.

“I’m really looking forward to heading back to World Wide Technology Raceway this year, I really love the ovals and look forward to them every season,” exclaimed the Georgia native.
After a disappointing race here in 2024 that saw Rowe unable to complete the set distance, the series sophomore is looking forward to what he can do this weekend.
“I’m excited to see what our pace is like this weekend, and to hopefully carry that momentum we had at the beginning of the year here and walk away with a win or at least a top three finish but absolutely looking for a strong results,” explained Myles Rowe.
Jordan Missig made his first laps at the Iowa Speedway on Monday, and is looking forward to keeping that oval notebook open this weekend in St. Louis.

“I’m definitely looking forward to World Wide Technology Raceway, it’s always cool to get back to my roots and come back to this track. Going from karting to the INDY NXT car is a really cool comparison,” said Missig
Getting his feet wet in INDY NXT competition in 2024, Missig competed at World Wide Technology Raceway for ABEL Motorsports last season, earning his best finish of the handful of races he contested.
“We had a great car here last year, and I actually earned my best finish here out of the five races I ran last year with ABEL Motorsports. I absolutely love the ovals, and oval racing so really excited to get the weekend going,” exclaimed Missig.
A year of INDY NXT experience under his belt, Callum Hedge is excited to get back to work on the ovals, eyeing down his first podium of 2025.

“Heading into the first oval event of the season, I’m really keen to get going on a different type of circuit than what we have been on to start the year,” said Hedge.
Looking back to both the success ABEL Motorsports had here in 2024, and his own fifth place finish, Hedge is eager to get out on track and see what he and the No. 17 can accomplish.
“I finished fifth here last year, and ABEL Motorsports managed a double podium so I am quite confident that we will be able to shake things up in St. Louis and come home with some hardware,” said the New Zealander.
Jack William Miller heads to St. Louis riding a wave of momentum after his best INDY NXT finish to date of seventh in Detroit, eager to show what he is capable of in the number 40 car.

“We had a tough go in 2024 here, but I think with how the season has gone so far there is no reason for us to not be challenging up front,” said Miller.
Fresh off of the INDY NXT series test on Monday at the Iowa Speedway, Miller believes that was a great warmup for what is to come this weekend.
“It was great to be able to get that time Monday at Iowa just to shake the oval rust off, and to actually see what the ABEL car is like on an oval. We took some things away from that test that I think will come to help us this weekend, but yeah just really looking forward to the change of pace,” explained Miller.
The weekend at the World Wide Technology Raceway gets underway on Saturday June 14th with both practice and qualifying. Practice kicks the weekend off on FOX Sports One with qualifying being streamed live on FOX Sports Two. The 75-lap event goes green on Sunday at 4:30pm ET with coverage being shown live on FOX Sports One.
