– Myles Rowe heads to the site of his best finish in 2024, fresh off of his first INDY NXT podium
– Jordan Missig will get his first taste of the Streets of Detroit this weekend
Detroit, MI (May 29, 2025) – For the first time since the season opening race on the Streets of St. Petersburg Florida, ABEL Motorsports is once again heading back to a street-circuit this time with the bumpy Detroit Grand Prix on the Downtown city streets.

INDY NXT sophomore and third in the drivers championship, Myles Rowe, is looking to continue the momentum he has found after his back-to-back podiums in rounds three and four at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
“We’re really looking forward to the Detroit Grand Prix, street-courses are my favorite type of track to race on. We also had our best finish here last year, so this is definitely a place I am comfortable at,” said Myles Rowe.
After scoring a top five finish in Florida, Rowe is confident in the street-course platform that his ABEL Motorsports team have brought for the weekend.
“We’re quite excited to see how our cars balanced at this track. We had a pretty quick car back at St. Pete, so we will be looking to build from that and our momentum from Indianapolis,” exclaimed Rowe.

Currently eighth in INDY NXT by Firestone points, Callum Hedge returns to the site of his first podium in the series in 2024.
“Detroit is such a tough and physical track to drive, but when you get it right it’s awesome and I am really looking forward to this weekend,” said Hedge.
“I think we have some things that we are excited to try this weekend, but just looking forward to a weekend of progressing forward and working for a win,” said the New Zealander.

Experiencing Detroit for the first time in his career, Jordan Missig is excited for the new challenge that lies ahead.
“I’m really interested to see how Detroit will go. It’s a new track for me, and from what I heard it’s the bumpiest track we will see on the calendar,” said the Joliet Illinois native.
Also a fan of the unique driving style required by street-courses, Missig hopes his strong results on the street-courses continues.
“On top of learning a new track, I’m really excited for another street race and my record on street-circuits has been good as of late so hoping for more of the same and a bit more this weekend,” exclaimed Missig.

For sophomore Indianapolis native, Jack William Miller is looking to continue to make progress after his top ten finish during race one at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
“I feel like we are really starting to click as a team, and each weekend we head to the track my confidence level is that much higher,” said Jack William Miller.
“We had the pace in St. Pete to be up front, and I think we really have a solid car for this weekend,” said Jack William Miller.
The weekend in Detroit gets underway on Friday May 30th with practice one beginning at 2:00pm Eastern. Saturday May 31st holds practice two beginning at 8:00am Eastern followed by qualifying beginning at 11:30am Eastern. The Detroit Grand Prix will receive the green flag on Sunday June 1st at 10:30am Eastern live on FOX Sports One.
