ABEL Motorsports Continues with Off-Season Testing at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway

  • For the first time the 2026 ABEL Motorsports driver lineup will be on display at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway
  • Myles Rowe lead the way during this test in 2024 eclipsing second by over a tenth of a second

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

Speedway, Ind. (October 27, 2025) – Off-season testing ahead of the 17 round 2026 INDY NXT by Firestone season continues on at the iconic Indianapolis Motor Speedway on Monday October 27th. ABEL Motorsports will once again be represented by a four-car armada with this test marking the first time the entire 2026 lineup will be on track together.

Returning for his second season of competition with the ABEL Motorsports with Force Indy team, Myles Rowe, is excited to get the rust shaken off and get back to work with his 99 crew.

“Very excited to get back in my ABEL Motorsports seat and shake the rust off,” said Myles Rowe.

Rowe had a successful trip to the iconic Speedway in May scoring his first podium finish in the INDY NXT by Firestone series and backed it up the following day with his second podium finish.

“Today begins our journey towards 2026, so I am just looking forward to a solid day of work and getting next year started off on the right foot.”

Ready to get back to work in the number 48 machine, Joliet Illinois Jordan Missig the opportunity to drive an open-wheel car around the iconic Speedway is one he never takes for granted.

“I’m really looking forward to getting back into the ABEL Motorsports INDY NXT car this week at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. It just means so much to us drivers to be able to drive an open-wheel car at the famous circuit where so many legends have turned laps,” said Missig.

After an incredibly strong showing at the season finale that included setting the fastest lap of the race, Missig is ready to get down to work and begin his preparations for the 2026 season.

“This marks the beginning of our 2026 season and its so important to get off on the right foot and hopefully learn some valuable lessons that we can bring back here in the Month of May. This test will also be the first time we can really see how we are currently stacking up against the competition, I’d like to see us end up at the sharper end of the field by the end of the day.”

For Colin Kaminsky, testing at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway will be the first time he climbs behind the wheel of a Dallara IL-15 since his last race in 2023.

“I’m just really hoping to get reacquainted with the INDY NXT beast, I haven’t driven it in two years so this will be a test of myself and my driving ability to get acclimated to an open-wheel machine,” said Kaminsky.

Having the ability to lean on his teammates who have more recent experience in the car is a plus that Kaminsky intends on using to his advantage.

“I’m really excited to jump back in with ABEL Motorsports, they have had some good success since my time away so excited to be in that mix. We also have quite a stacked lineup this year of talent, so it’s going to be great to lean on them as I work to get up to speed.”

Newcomer to INDY NXT and 2025 USF Pro 2000 champion, Max Garcia, is excited to continue learning his new number 12 Dallara while getting his first opportunity to work with his new teammates.

“Very exciting times for us at ABEL Motorsports getting the full 2026 lineup out on track for the first time ahead of the season, I’m really looking forward to starting to build those strong connections as a group,” said Garcia.

For Garcia the opportunity to drive his Dallara IL-15 around the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, just one step below the NTT INDYCAR SERIES is a dream come true for the 16-year-old from Florida.

“Our plan is to just really work on a good baseline setup for May and continue to gather as much data as possible. It truly is an honor to have the opportunity to drive at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, and I can’t wait for the day when I get to just turn left here.”
