FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
Leeds, Al. (November 10, 2025) – For the final time in 2025, ABEL Motorsports heads to the racetrack for INDY NXT by Firestone testing, this time at the Barber Motorsports Park ahead of the 2026 season.
Just missing out on the podium during the 2025 INDY NXT Grand Prix of Alabama, Myles Rowe is excited to take the lessons learned from May to see if he and lead engineer Kent Boyer can find some more speed out of the 99 car.
“I’m excited to be testing in Alabama, I have a lot of family in this area so it always feels like a sort of homecoming for me when we come here,” said Rowe.
“It’s our final time on track for 2025, and with testing for 2026 starting in January it’s going to be crucial to end the year with confidence and a direction we can head in for the season.”
Also heading south looking to expand their knowledge notebook, Jordan Missig is ready to get to work in Alabama.
“Really looking forward to Barber, it’s going to be our last time on track for 2025 before the holiday break so we are going to do everything in our power to maximize the time we have before jumping back in next year at Sebring,” said Missig.
“It’s going to be an interesting day for sure with the weather being so cold, but when the Firestone tires get some heat in them I know the track will be fast. We have a few things to work through testing wise, so just excited to see what we find.”
For Colin Kaminsky, the test day in Alabama doubles his time in the Dallara IL-15, and provides another opportunity for the Indiana resident to continue his familiarization with the open-wheel car.
“Really looking forward to one more day in the Slick Locks 57 machine for the year, doubling my days in the car from one to two,” joked Kaminsky.
“We have a few things we are wanting to experiment with that we are hoping will be viable to us when we come here in 2026 to race. I’m looking at this as another day to continue getting up to speed, that way I can come out swinging in 2026 with testing at Sebring.”
The only rookie on the ABEL Motorsports squad, Max Garcia is looking forward to another day of working within the ABEL Motorsports system as he works to get up to speed in the Dallara IL-15.
“The final test of the year will be an important one for us as I continue getting comfortable with the new car and working with the team,” said the Florida native.
“It’s been a blast so far getting to work with the whole ABEL Motorsports team and the new Dallara, so I’m excited to continue building on that relationship as we close out the year.”
