- ABEL Motorsports returns to Portland International Raceway to defend 2024 win
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
Portland, OR (August 8, 2025) – ABEL Motorsports heads to the Portland International Raceway to close out the 2025 INDY NXT by Firestone West Coast Swing. ABEL returns eager to defend their victory in the Pacific Northwest after reaching the top step of the podium in 2024 with Jacob Abel.

After his first podium finish of the 2025 season at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca, Callum Hedge is ready for redemption after a difficult visit here in 2024.
“Excited to get out on track in Portland, really cool area and a fast track so working hard to produce another result,” said Hedge.
“I had a rough weekend here in 2024 but with the momentum and confidence we have from our podium at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca, we can keep chasing the podiums that we know we can achieve,” exclaimed Hedge.

For Myles Rowe the trip to Portland always brings back great memories for him and his family, as Portland International Raceway was the site of his history making USF Pro 2000 championship in 2023.
“I love Portland and am pumped to be heading there. This track has so much nostalgia for my family and I after securing the 2023 USF Pro 2000 championship in here. Portland will always be special to me,” said Myles Rowe.
“This begins the last three races of the season, so we are looking for a strong result to build some end of season momentum. This is the last road course of the year as well, so this will be a great chance to maximize our performance to show our strength at these types of tracks,” said Rowe.

Joliet Illinois native Jordan Missig heads to Portland International Raceway with confidence having competed on this circuit before and grabbing three top ten’s in the USF Pro 2000 championship.
“Can’t wait to get back in the car this weekend at Portland. I haven’t been at PIR since 2023, and had some success here so hoping we can replicate that this weekend,” stated Jordan Missig.
“The ABEL Motorsports team and I are really looking forward to bounce back this weekend after a very up and down weekend in California. We are going to keep our heads down, keep working hard, and will be looking for a good result this weekend,” said Missig.

As Jack William Miller enters round eleven of the 2025 championship, his confidence is up knowing that he has had the pace here in the past and knows how to get around the 12-turn road-course.
“Portland’s up next and I am confident that we will be quick, and ready to battle at the front of the pack,” said Jack William Miller.
“I’ve always enjoyed driving around Portland, and have had pace here in the past so it’s time to keep doing what we have done all year and time for the Patterson Dental / HomeLink machine to deliver,” said Miller.
