– After a second-place finish on the first oval of the year (WWTR) Rowe continues with his pace leading the way during testing in Milwaukee
– Jordan Missig made his first laps at the Milwaukee Mile during Tuesday’s testing
Milwaukee, WI (June 25, 2025) – It was once again ABEL Motorsport’s Myles Rowe, leading the way during INDY NXT by Firestone testing on Tuesday at the Milwaukee Mile. Rowe set a best lap of 00:24.0789 and 151.751 miles per hour.

“I’m very happy with our results from today and ending the day at the top of the chart,” said Myles Rowe.
“I’m naturally very excited to run on the ovals coming the second half of the season given how well we have done on the ovals to this point. Obviously, we wanted a bit more in the first half of the season but we really have good momentum at the moment and a good setup for a strong campaign to fight for victories as we enter the second half of the season,” exclaimed Rowe.

Joliet Illinois Jordan Missig made his first laps around the legendary oval on Tuesday, noting the difficulty this particular track has and the different nuances of the track surface.
“The rain hampered us a bit with our run plan, but it was awesome to make my first laps around the Milwaukee Mile. This track has so much history behind it, it’s just neat to get to turn laps here,” exclaimed Missig.
“The track is very low grip, with an older track surface that has patches on the bottom, so you have to be very precise where you place the car to sort of work around that. Overall, a very fun day of running, and we have quick cars so I’m looking forward to coming back in August,” explained Missig.

Completing 147 laps on the day, Jack William Miller was pleased with the progress he and lead engineer Mike Pawlowski made, including getting in some race running stints.
“We had a really productive day today at the Milwaukee Mile, working through our abbreviated test plan but getting the big items knocked out,” said Jack William Miller.
“We were able to complete a ton of laps and even got some race running stints in to see how the longer runs affected the car, so overall I am very pleased with what we have on the Patterson Dental/HomeLink car. I also want to just give a shout out to the entire ABEL Motorsports team who has had a super long week between Road America and now the test at Milwaukee, we never missed a beat and that’s because of their dedication,” said Miller.

Sophomore Callum Hedge was also pleased with his day on the 1.015-mile track given the abbreviated running due to weather but feels like there is still some speed left on the table to be found.
“We were a bit bummed when we saw the rain, but thankfully INDYCAR and the staff at the Milwaukee Mile were able to dry the track to give us some good afternoon running,” said Callum Hedge.
“We definitely have some pace in the 17 car, but I think we have some tweaks in both the car and my line to make in order to be up there battling with Myles. This track is so unique and a place that’s tough to get a handle on, but we will go back and look over some data and get ready to come back in August,” said Hedge.
